No account, no login, no newsletter, no contact form. Nothing you do here is tied to a name.

This deployment sets no cookies, writes nothing to localStorage, and runs no analytics, no tag manager, and no tracking pixel. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Fonts are self-hosted and charts render in your browser. The only outbound request the site itself makes is server-side, from our machines to the public budget API at budget.bettergov.ph, to fetch the figures. Your browser never talks to it.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records ordinary request logs: IP address, timestamp, the path requested, and the user-agent string. That happens at the infrastructure layer, it is standard for any web server, and it is needed to serve pages and absorb abuse.

We do not read those logs to profile anyone, do not join them to anything else, and do not export them. Vercel’s retention applies; see Vercel’s privacy policy.

Advertising is currently switched off. It is described here anyway, because it can be switched on and this page should be readable before that happens rather than after.

When AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure ads, including on the basis of prior visits to this and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Directly-sold sponsor slots are different: the logo is served from this domain, there is no third-party script, no iframe, and no cookie. A sponsor cannot tell that you saw it. The terms those slots are sold under are public — see SPONSORS.md.

If you send money, it happens entirely inside GCash, Maya, or PayPal. This site displays a QR code and a link; it does not process, receive, or store any payment detail, and it never sees your card, wallet balance, or phone number.

Those providers are separate data controllers with their own policies. Whatever they record about the transaction is between you and them.

Donations buy nothing. No figure changes, no page is softened, and no donor is named anywhere on a data page. See the support page.

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 gives you rights over personal data about you: to be informed, to access it, to correct it, to object to its processing, and to have it erased or blocked. This page is the notice part.

The lawful basis for the little that is processed is legitimate interest — serving and securing a website — under section 12(f) of the Act.

The controller is the individual operating this site. Write to hello@phbudget.help to exercise any of those rights, or to complain. If the answer is unsatisfactory, you can escalate to the National Privacy Commission.

A caveat worth stating: because nothing here is tied to an identity, an access or erasure request usually has nothing to act on. That is a feature, not an evasion.

The site is not directed at children and asks for no information from anyone, of any age.

Material changes move the date at the top of this page. The file lives in the public repository, so every revision is in the git history with the date it was made — you do not have to take our word for what it used to say.
