PH BudgetFY2027

About this site

PH Budget is an independent citizen tool for reading the Philippine national budget: the FY2027 proposal, every department, compared line by line against the enacted FY2026 law.

Why it exists

The budget is public. Every figure on this site comes from a public API reading of public documents, and the signed law is one click away on every page. The barrier was never access; it was that the documents arrive as thousands of lines meant for accountants. This site renders them for everyone else, and leaves the amounts exactly as the source wrote them. The two figures it computes itself — shares of the total, and the budget per Filipino — are divisions documented on the methodology page.

Who runs it

An independent citizen effort, run at cost. It is not affiliated with the Department of Budget and Management, the House of Representatives, the Senate, or any other government body, and no government office has reviewed or endorsed it. If you spot an error, it is yours to report and ours to fix: hello@phbudget.help.

How it is funded

Reading the budget here is free, and the code behind it is the author's own. The site's running costs are small, and its funding, whenever any exists, is kept in sight rather than hidden:

  • This deployment carries no advertising. When it ever does, ads will be labeled and the placements will follow the public rules in the privacy policy.
  • Directly-sold sponsor slots, if one is ever booked, are labeled by name: a booked sponsor always displaces any general advertising, and its terms are available on request.
  • Voluntary donations, if ever enabled, run entirely inside GCash, Maya, or PayPal; the site never sees a payment detail.

Where to go next

  • Methodology: where every number comes from, and what the data does not tell you.
  • How to read the budget: the plain-language guide, no economics degree required.
  • Take action: the proposal is still open, and a specific finding can change a line.
  • The departments: start anywhere. The biggest wallet is a good first read.
